We are thrilled to collaborate and welcome Bridgett Burrick Brown to DL Studio on Saturday, May 21st. Bridgett will be bringing her Dear Body Workshop to the studio. Bridgett has created a pre-teen edition workshop especially for 5th and 6th grade girls where she discusses the significance of self-care and love, the reality of social media, and ditching the patriarchal standards of beauty and value to embrace one’s own uniqueness. This workshop will guide participants through interactive activities that will inspire self-love, confidence, and empowerment. Three things that are important at any stage of life, but especially as pre-teen girls make the transition from elementary to middle school and the social and emotional challenges that can come with it.
Registration: Tickets for the Dear Body Workshop can be purchased on beyondbeautyproject.com/events! The workshop will run from 1:30 - 3:30pm. Tickets are $65 (plus $1.63 processing fee). This workshop is open to 5th and 6th graders. For siblings, please use the coupon SIBLINGLOVE to get 8% off your ticket prices!
We’ll have some yummy snacks on hand for all who attend.
